Home is a feeling; our task is bringing that to life. We love what we do because we realize there’s more to this than timeless craftsmanship, there’s something within the details – something deeper.
To us, a blueprint is just the starting point for creating a space where people will thrive – there’s so much more to it than that though. We focus on volume, on ceiling heights, on sizes of doors, the rising and setting of the sun and how light plays in a room. It’s the creative part of the process that intrigues us. That’s why we build.
The joy for us is uniting with our clients to find those elusive intangibles, those things between, that guide us in designing intricately conceived living spaces that are uniquely suited to them – finding that exact feeling that will make their house a home.
A Blend of Art & Science
We believe homebuilding is a blend of art and science and that a great home not only looks wonderful but also performs well. While a client focuses on the finishes of their new home, we focus on the details that can’t be seen but make all the difference.
We study the gradient of the property to ensure water intrusion points are accounted for and crawl spaces and basements remain dry. We pay attention to framing techniques, insulation, the performance of windows, water heaters, and HVAC equipment to ensure that our homes are energy efficient. We give special consideration to ventilation in attic spaces, to the dew point inside your walls, to air exchanges per hour.
We account for every detail so that your home’s performance is as beautiful as its looks.
